HELLICKSON CAPTURES SIXER NATION STREET STOCKS MAIN

Wisconsin Dells WI-Kendall Wisconsin driver Curtis Hellickson charged to a late race victory in the late stages of the Sixer Nation Street Stocks at the 63rd Annual DRP Season Opener presented by The Country Plumber. Dustin McCracken-Elroy WI and Greg Brown-LaCrosse WI brought a stout field of Sixer to the line for their 18 lap feature event. The top two and Gracie Flanagan would break away single file and battle for the top spot as Curtis Hellickson would start to climb from his ninth starting spot. A late caution would bring Hellickson into the fold in the waning laps. He would first go around the outside of Flanagan than would make quick work of the leader McCracken to drive away to the Victory. Following the 90 to the line was Dustin McCracken, Greg Brown, Gracie Flanagan and Defending Champion Scott Ehleiter. Cody Anderson was fast qualifier with a lap of 17.776. The heat races were won by Troy Dobbratz, Landin Frye and Gracie Flanagan.
