CAREER FIRST FOR COREY SWANSON IN NASCAR MODS - PATE CROWNED CHAMPION
Wisconsin Dells WI-Reedsburg WI’s Corey Swanson would break through for his first career Feature win in the 25 lap O’Reilly Auto Parts Championship Feature for the NASCAR Weekly Blystone Towing and Recovery Mods. Though Swanson would lead every lap from the pole it was no Saturday night cruise. Swanson would face multiple challenges on multiple restarts and still the young driver in only his second full season would hold on to claim a big win. Following Swanson to the line was Fast Qualifier Mike Sandholm, Dan Howard, Larry DeVito and Matt Pate. The Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash was won by Dave Edwards while the heat race was won by Tony DeVito. Menomonee Falls Driver Matt Pate would claim his second straight NASCAR Weekly Blystone Towing and Recovery Mods Dells Raceway Park Track Championship, It is his 4th overall Modified Championship and also was crowned Diamond Wheels Fast Dash Champion. Antonio DeVito was crowned the 2025 Rookie of the year.
