ERICKSON COLLECTS WIN IN NASCAR REGIONAL SPORTSMAN

Wisconsin Dells WI-Cherry Valley, Illinois Driver Cody Erickson collected the NASCAR Weekly Born Construction Sportsman feature at the Walbeck Classic presented by Don Larson Superstore. Starting from the third position Erickson would move to the top spot on lap ten of the 25 lap feature. The evenings Fast Qualifier Dave Trute (14.722) would close into striking distance in the waning laps. Even with Lapped traffic effecting the leader to the line Erickson was able to hold off Trute at the line for the win. Tommy Moore was third, Derrin Salo and Adam Cartwright rounded out the top five. Brock Behnke won the Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash while the heat races were won by Evan Beattie and Adam Cartwright.
