CWRA WALBECK CLASSIC TO A PAIR OF MACKESY'S
Wisconsin Dells WI-A pair of Mackesy’s Split the Walbeck Classic Twin Features Presented by Don Larson Superstore for the CWRA Super Late Models. In the first feature Mark Mackesy charged forward from his four place starting position to take the lead from Jeff Weinfurter on lap twelve. Mackesy would build an insurmountable lead as he would cruise to the win over Tyler Sauter, Jeff Weinfurter, Corey Jankowski and Dillon Mackesy. In feature number two it was the younger Mackesy who would utilize a fierce strategy to get to the front taking the lead on lap seven from Paul Paine. Though Paine would make a late race charge Dillon Mackesy who was Fast qualifier on the night was just too far gone and would take the main event win. Paul Paine would finish second followed by Mark Mackesy, Jeff Weinfurter and Tyler Sauter. By virtue of his 1st and 3rd place feature finishes Mark Mackesy was crowned the Overall Champion for the Walbeck Classic Presented by Don Larson Superstore for the CWRA Super Late Models.
