STRONG WIN FOR SANDHOLM IN NASCAR REGIONAL MODS
Wisconsin Dells WI-Oconomowoc WI’s Mike Sandholm would power to the front in the Blystone Towing and Recovery NASCAR Weekly Mods on Blystone’s Towing and Recovery Back to School Night at Dells Raceway Park. Due to weather that moved through earlier in the day qualifying and preliminary races were cancelled lining the field up by Point average for the night’s Feature race. Sandholm would start deep in the field coming all the way from the outside of row 4 to take the lead with 11 laps to go. The 6 would have to fight off a couple challenges from Matt Pate in late race restarts but he was equal to the task. As he cruised to the victory ahead of Matt Pate, Larry DeVito, Bill Prietzel and Corey Swanson.
