HELGESTAD & TRUTE SPLIT SPORTSMAN TWINS

Wisconsin Dells WI-Tytus Helgestad of Milton WI and Dave Trute of New Lisbon split the twin feature events for the Born Construction NASCAR Weekly Sportsman on Blystone Towing back to School night at Dells Raceway Park. In the first feature Tytus Helgestad would drive forward from his 3rd place starting spot to take the lead with 21 laps remaining. Helgestad would hold off the charge of Derrin Salo and drive away to score the victory. Salo would follow Helgestad to the line followed by Kody Hubred, Dave Trute and Tommy Moore. In the second feature current point leader Dave Trute would showcase his dominance as he would get to the front quickly and drive off into the DRP night. Kody Hubred would come home second after a furious charge that would come up short followed by Tytus Helgestad, Derrin Salo and Tommy Moore.
