EMILY BILLINGS WINS A THRILLER IN GNL INEX BANDOS

Wisconsin Dells WI-Fourth Generation driver Emily Billings of Waterloo, WI won on a last corner pass to thrill the crowd Saturday Night at Dells Raceway Park on Detjens Memorial Night. Ace Oldenhoff Lake Mills WI and Bentley Thompson West Salem, WI would bring an impressive group of GNL INEX Bandoleros to the line for their Detjens Memorial feature. Thompson would jump out to the early lead and try to run from the field. He would succeed for 14 laps as Lincoln and Harley Johnson of Ixonia WI would pressure him for the top spot. It was an intense battle into turn one with the leaders making contact bringing the entire top five into a sprint for the line four wide into turn three. Billings who entered the white flag lap in the fifth position would wrap the bottom of the track as the leaders tangled in the second and third grooves and shoot to the line followed by Oliver Weinkauf Merrill, WI Chris Flynn Farmington, MN, Ace Oldenhoff and Axel Oldenhoff Lake Mills, WI. The Win for Billings would also send her to the top of the 2025 DRP point standings. The Bando Dash was won by Harley Johnson while the heats were won by Jase Riedner Lodi, WI, and Ace Oldenhoff.
