AYRTON BROCKHOUSE CAPTURES INEX LEGEND DETJENS MEMORIAL

Wisconsin Dells WI-Ayrton Brockhouse claimed victory in the Great North INEX Legends A-Main Saturday night at Dells Raceway Park in the Detjens Memorial Race. Eric Neimi Belleville WI and Alex Ruedinger Larsen, WI brought the feature field to the line Cael Slater of Kendall WI would immediately fire to the lead from his 4th starting position. The caution flew early for three car pileup down the front stretch that involved the current point leader Ayrton Brockhouse. Brockhouse would go to the pits and return with a torn up body to start from the tail. Jayden Johnson of Ixonia WI took the lead with 13 to go as the entire field was under siege from Brockhouse. Johnson would end up fighting tooth and nail for the lead with Brockhouse with 3 to go when he would tangle with a lap car and end his evening early. This would open the door for Brockhouse to complete his impossible comeback and take the win. Brockhouse would be followed to the line by Riley Goodwin Hudson WI, Cael Slater, Art Hahn Hartford WI, and Alex Ruedinger. Jayden Johnson would win the Fast Dash while Cooper Heinz LaCrosse WI and Cael Slater would win the heats. Ayrton Brockhouse was Fast Time with a lap of 15.482.
