LICHTFELD & GOEDE VICTORIOUS IN NASCAR LATE MODEL DETJENS MEMORIAL EVENTS

Wisconsin Dells WI-Mike Lichtfeld of Pardeville, WI and Jacob Goede of Carver MN split the NASCAR weekly Gandrud Performance Parts Late Model Twin Features at the Larry Detjens Memorial Saturday July 12th at Dells Raceway Park. In the first event Cole Howard of Baraboo and Colgate’s Evan Hassler brought the stacked field to the line as Hassler would gain the advantage and lead the early going. Caution on lap 6 would pave the way for Defending Champion Mike Lichtfeld to challenge for the lead. Lichtfeld took control of the lead and would never look back. Following Lichtfeld to the line was Nick Nolden Sun Prairie, Randy Sargent So Beloit, Jacob Goede and Weston Marthaler of Glenwood MN. In the second feature Zack Riddle of Brooklyn and Michael Guderski Markesan WI brought the field to the green. Riddle would lead the field for much of the race. On Lap 17 current NASCAR Regional National Point leader Jacob Goede would wrestle the lead away from Riddle and set sail for DRP victory lane. Goede was followed to the line by Mike Lichtfeld, Zack Riddle, Evan Hassler and Michael Guderski. Zack Riddle was Fast qualifier on the night with a lap of 14.177.
