WILBERG VICTORIOUS IN NASCAR REGIONAL 602 OUTLAW LATE MODELS

Wisconsin Dells WI-Short Track Veteran Bobby Wilberg of Beloit WI collected the win the Advanced Auto Parts NASCAR Weekly 602 Outlaw Late Model feature presented Lefthander Performance Saturday Night at Dells Raceway Park. Pete Moore and Madison Boreen would bring the beautiful field of 602 Outlaw Late Models to the line for their 35 lap main event. Moore would grab the lead as the field raced hard behind him. Moore would lead until a caution would bring the field to his rear wing. Bobby Wilberg who started in the 6th position would go to work on Moore for the lead and wrestle it away with just 11 circuits remaining. Wilberg would drive off into the sunset picking up a long sought return to DRP victory lane and tying him with Dennis Prunty for the series point lead. Wilberg was followed to the line by a hard charging Charlie Bates, Dennis Prunty, Pete Moore and Rick Bolton. Charlie Bates was Fast qualifier with Bobby Wilberg winning the Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash. Greg Bowers and Pete Moore would win the heat races.
