NASCAR REGIONAL OUTLAW LATE MODEL WIN TO HELLENBRAND

Wisconsin Dells WI-Verona Wisconsin driver Mason Hellenbrand held off hard charging veteran racers to collect the 35 Lap Advanced Auto Parts NASCAR Weekly 602 Outlaw Late Models Presented by Lefthander Performance Saturday night at Dells Raceway Park. Mason Hellenbrand and Bobby Wilberg brought the stacked field of outlaw late models to the line. Hellenbrand would have to hold off the charge of Wilberg early as the laps fell away. Multiple cautions and an appearance by the Five Star Concrete lane choice cone would jostle the field bringing Fast Qualifier Dennis Prunty to the outside shoulder of the second year Outlaw driver. Though Prunty applied ample pressure Hellenbrand was equal to the task collecting his first feature win of the season. Hellenbrand was followed to the line by Prunty, Wilberg, Jon Lemke and Brad Warthan. The Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash was won by Jon Lemke while the heats were won by Madison Boreen and Mike Hanson.
