GOEDE GRABS FIRST EVER DELLS MAIN

Multi Time NASCAR Regional Champion Jacob Goede of Carver, MN collected his first ever DRP Feature win on Jose’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant Night at the races. The Advanced Auto parts NASCAR Weekly Gandrud Performance Parts Late Models stated there 35 Lap Feature with a Pair of Borntregers on the front row. Andrew would take the early lead with Rose close in tow. As is the case is the 35 lap sprint style Late Model features the intensity was on display as the faster Qualifiers worked forward. Caution would fly with 9 laps to go with Rose Borntreger in control of the field. Weston Marthaler would work past the rookie on the restart and lead until the caution flew with 4 laps to go. That would bring Jacob Goede (who started the race inside row 5) to the outside front row on what would be the final restart. The veteran would work around the outside of the second year pilot to drive off to the win. Goede was followed to the line by Weston Marthaler, Rose Borntreger, Mike Lichtfeld and Randy Sargent. Nick Nolden was Fast Qualifier of 18 Advanced Auto Parts NASCAR Weekly Gandrud Performance Parts Late Models with a lap of 14.005. Mike Ehde won the Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash while Hunter Stenson and Steve Lichtfeld won the heats.
