HARLEY JOHNSON CAPTURES WIN BENTLEY THOMPSON GRABS TITLE

Wisconsin Dells WI-Harley Johnson collected his first ever Great North Legends INEX Bandolero Feature win at the Walbeck Classic Presented by Auto Value Parts Stores. After a few shaky starts the youngsters were able to get things going in their 15 lap main event. Johnson would climb from the 5th starting spot to the lead just before half way. The young man in the 7 would remain largely unchallenged even through a couple late restarts as he would cruise to the checkers. Following Johnson to the line was Ace Oldenhoff, Bentley Thompson, Emily Billings and Wesley Baumeister. Bentley Thompson was fast time qualifier with a lap of 16.756. The heats were won by Blake Michael and Ace Oldenhoff. It was Harley Johnson winning the battle and it was Bentley Thompson winning the Championship war. Thompson would finish the season with 2 wins in the Bandolero’s 5 race season. The top five in this seasons INEX Bandolero Points were Bentley Thompson, Lincoln Johnson, Harley Johnson Ace Oldenhoff and Axel Oldenhoff. Hat’s off to the youngsters on an awesome season at DRP.
