LICHTFELD OUTDUALS NOLDEN FOR WALBECK PRO LATE CLASSIC WIN

Wisconsin Dells WI-Mike Lichtfeld of Pardeeville WI out dueled Nick Nolden of Sun Prairie WI in the closing laps of the Walbeck Classic Truck Country 35 to pick up his 56th career feature win at DRP which breaks the tie he was in with “The Blue Knight” Tom Reffner and takes sole possession of third on the all-time DRP feature win list. Matt Urban and Grant Brown brought the stacked field to the green. Brown would jump out front and lead for 26 of the 35 slated laps. Defending Champion Mike Lichtfeld worked from the inside of row five. He would catch and pass Brown with 8 Laps remaining and would proceed to lead until a late race caution would bring Multi time Track Champion Nick Nolden to his outside on the final restart. The two Champions would fight tooth and nail for final four laps with Lichtfeld finally securing the lead and feature win. Lichtfeld was followed to the line by Nolden, Brown, Hunter Stenson and Noah Eisenhauer. Mike Lichtfeld was fast time with a lap of 14.167. Hunter Stenson won the Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash. Cole Howard and Colton Morgan won the heat races. The Pro Late Models return to Dells Raceway Park September 9th for O’Reilly Auto Parts Night at the races.
