HELLICKSON ROCKETS TO WIN AND HSRA DRP CHAMPIONSHIP

Wisconsin Dells WI-Curtis Hellickson rocketed to a win and a DRP Championship in the High School Racing Association. Landin Frye and Jackson Martindale brought the young racers to the line for their 15 lap main event. After a rough start we were off and running with Hellickson working quickly from his 4th starting spot to the front. He would not go unchallenged as the 05 of Ryatt Dobbratz climbed to the outside and gave him a battle for the top spot. Hellickson was equal to the task as he held off Dobbratz at the line collecting his 3rd DRP feature win and the overall DRP HSRA Championship. Dobbratz finished second followed by Fast Qualifier Caleb Arneson (18.062), Landin Frye and Jackson Martindale. The High School Racing Association returns to DRP September 9th for the HSRA Regional Championship as part of O’Reilly Auto Parts Night.
