BREDESON BREAKS THRU FOR DRP BANDIT VICTORY

Wisconsin Dells WI-Middleton Wisconsin’s Jeremy Bredeson breaks his victory lane drought with a hard fought win in the Doug’s Northside Auto Bandits on Auto Value Parts Stores Night at the Races. Josh Mazur and Ron Myers would bring the field to the green for their 20 lap Feature event. Mazur would jump out to the early lead as the field fanned out behind them. As Mazur drove hard to hold off Mazur the trio of Jeremy Bredeson, Steve Ecker and Championship points’ leader Jordan Hoffman started their climb up the leaderboard. Bredeson who started 7th on the field was clearly on a mission as he caught and passed Mazur for the lead on lap 6. Ecker and Hoffman would also pass the 26 and set their sights on Bredeson. As the laps dwindled away Ecker was able to chase down Bredeson and immediately start the onslaught in attempts to win his second feature of 2023. However it was Bredeson who would come out on top as the 12 of Ecker just didn’t have the corner exit speed of Bredeson who cruised to the his first checkered flag of 2023 . Ecker would be second followed by Hoffman, Mazur and Rick Bolton. Jim Lapp was your fast qualifier with a lap of 16.865. Rick Bolton won the Fast Dash and Heidi Cuff won the heat race. The Doug’s Northside Auto UMA Bandits return to DRP August 19th as part of the Brewster’s Lanes of Reedsburg Pro Late Model Triple Crown Round 3.
