BROCKHOUSE PUNCHES TICKET TO VEGAS WITH DRP REGIONAL WIN

Wisconsin Dells WI 8/6/22-The Great North INEX Legends would run an INEX Regional Qualifier event on Kalahari Resorts and Convention Center night at the races. Veteran Legend Racer Tim Brockhouse would win the 25 lap main event and earn an automatic invite to the INEX Asphalt Championships in Las Vegas later this year. Amanda Brockhouse and Adam Hansen brought a fierce field of Legends to the line. Hansen would gain the early advantage as he led the swarm of cars out of turn two. Adam Hansen would lead the first four laps before young hot shoe Jacob Tiegen would put him under Siege with a big time battle for the top spot. Tiegen would assume the lead on lap 5 and attempt to pull away. Tim Brockhouse would use his veteran control and driving prowess to close the gap and enter into a battle with the young driver that would last for many laps. A late race caution would set the table for one more fight through the Dell Prairie Auto Body Restart Zone Brockhouse was able to take the lead one last time and hold off Tiegen to punch his ticket to Las Vegas. Incoming inclement weather forced the cancelation of the preliminary events. Tim Brockhouse was the fast qualifier for the Great North Legends with a lap of 15.497.
