Majeski Claims Third Falloween 150 Title

Wisconsin Dells WI 10/24/20-The Dells Raceway Park 6th annual Falloween 150 took place this past Saturday and while temperatures were well below normal driver Ty Majeski was well above the norm and captured his third Falloween 150 presented by Ho-Chunk Gaming of Wisconsin Dells.

Skylar Holzhausen of Bangor WI and Dalton Zehr of Menomonee MI would bring the 25 car field to green and it was Zehr who grabbed the top spot early as the field sorted itself out. By lap 20 Zehr continued to lead and had a mirror full of Ty Majeski and point leader Ryan Farrell with Jordan Devoy and Casey Johnson in tow. On lap 26 Majeski would make his move and slip by Zehr and the race to half way break began. Majeski would open up a five car length lead on Zehr as the race for the Alive for 5 Championship would be a battle between Farrell and Johnson. Johnson was persistent and patient and eventually worked his way past Farrell heading into the break and Zehr was gaining ground on Majeski as Zehr looked to be better on long green flag runs. On the restart Zehr tried the outside for the lead but Majeski got away and Zehr had to be content to follow until a late race caution would give Zehr on more try at it with 6 laps to go. Zehr once again tried the outside but Majeski was too strong and Zehr had to settle for second with Johnson third, Farrell fourth and Jordan Devoy rounded out the top five. Majeski has now won the Falloween 150 three times with wins in 2017, 2019 & 2020. Casey Johnson over came a 3 point deficit heading into the Falloween 150 to claim his first Alive for 5 Championship. Johnson finished third in the event and that was enough to secure the championship over Ryan Farrell of Big Bend. Earlier in the day Travis Sauter set fast time, John Beale & Brady Bill were winners of the qualifying races and Max Kahler won the B-Main to transfer into the Falloween 150.
