Wisconsin Dells WI-Brett Wachowiacz of Milwaukee broke through for his first win of 2023 on O’Reilly Auto Parts Night at the races, Wachowiacz fought from his second row outside starting spot to win the 25 lap Asphalt Mods Main event Saturday at DRP. Wachowiacz would hold off all fights for the lead and was followed to the line by Championship Points Leader Weston Marthaler, Dave Edwards, Matt Pate and Brad Wildes. The Diamond Racing Wheels Dash was won by Matt Pate and the heat was won by Brian Muick. Marthaler was fast time of 12 cars with a lap of 14.433. The UMA Asphalt Mods finish their point season on the Friday night of the Midwest Championship Showdown September 22nd 23rd and 24th at Dells Raceway Park.
