DELLS DRIVERS EXCEL IN NASCAR AWARDS

The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series is all about recognizing and celebrating the best short track racers in the country – the drivers who keep the spirit of local racing alive week in and week out and the weekly series drivers from Dells Raceway Park did not disappoint on the national stage.
This year, 2025, was the first year of Dells Raceway Park joining the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series for Regional and Nationwide competition, the four sanctioned divisions were Late Models, 602 Late Models, Sportsman and Modifieds and Dells Raceway Park drivers bust onto the NASCAR seen with great success.
On the NASCAR National Stage, 1,112 Late Model Drivers were in competition and Jacob Goede of Carver, MN captured his second career NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series (NAAPWS) National Championship after winning feature events at Dells Raceway Park, Elko Speedway & LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway along with the season championship at LaCrosse. Goede will collect $43,500 from the NASCAR Weekly Series Point Fund for his efforts. Mike Lichtfeld of Pardeeville WI finished sixth in the National Standings and second in the Midwest Regional standings one spot behind Goede, and won the Dells Raceway Park Season Championship along with the NASCAR Rookie of the Year honors and the Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash Point Championship earning him $12,500 for the season. Nick Nolden of Sun Prairie WI finished second in the Dells Raceway Park Standings finished 24th in the National points, ninth in the regional and second in the NASCAR Rookie of the Year standings earned $3850 for his season efforts. Weston Marthaler of Glenwood MN finished third in the Dells Raceway Park Standings and 30th in the National Points earning $1200. The Borntreger Family of Elroy WI Andrew & Rose finished third and eighth respectively in the NASCAR rookie points. All in all Dells Raceway Park drivers received over $55,000 in the season point fund not counting Jacob Goede National & Regional championships which would bring the total over $98,000 for the season.
