JANKOWSKI & BORNTREGER SPLIT WALBECK CLASSIC TWINS

Wisconsin Dells WI-Corey Jankowski and Mahlon Borntreger split the twin 30 lap CWRA Super Late Model Features at the Walbeck Classic presented by Auto Value Parts Stores. In the first 30 lap race Fast Qualifier Corey Jankowski would fire forward quickly from his seventh starting spot and drive away with the Victory. “Batman” was followed to the line by Mahlon Borntreger, Jeff Weinfurter, Sam Niles and Monte Gress. In the Second 30 lap feature Mahlon Borntreger would be the benefactor of last lap contact between the leaders as he would take home the win. Borntreger would be followed to the line by Jeff Weinfurter Sam Niles, Tyler Sauter and Dan Linnehan. The CWRA Super Late Models Return to Dells Raceway Park to settle their Championship battle at the National Short Track Championships September 13th.
