ROOKIE ANDERSON GRABS KALAHARI INEX LEGEND MAIN

Wisconsin Dells WI-Rookie Driver Mark Anderson Jr. won his first career GNL INEX Legend feature on Kalahari Resort and Convention Center Night at The Races. Lincoln Cain and Adam Hansen brought a full field of INEX Legends to the line for their 25 lap Main event. The Rookie Driver Lincoln Cain would jump out to the early lead impressively outdueling the veteran on the front row. Cain would lead the early laps until fellow Rookie Mark Anderson Jr. pulled to his rear bumper from his 5th starting spot. Anderson would go to work eventually raising to the occasion and taking the top spot and trying to drive away. As the laps ticked off fast qualifier Jacob Tiegen (15.530) would start to rise through the field eventually landing in second. His march to the front got a little help when a late race Caution would force one final single file restart. Anderson had a mirror full of the 7 car as they came to green but try as he may the points leader in the 7 could not outduel the rookie as he drove to his first ever Inex Legend feature win under the Dells Raceway Park lights. Anderson was followed closely to the line by Tiegen, Darrell Stewart, Lincoln Cain and Rose Bontreger. Elliot Weiler won the Fast Dash and the heat races were won by Jake Baker and Darrell Stewart. The GNL Inex Legends are back in action at DRP as part of The Badger State 125 Alive For 5 Super Late Model Race on August 12th.
