BLYSTONE BRINGS HOME UMA MOD WIN

WIsconsin Dells WI-Jerry Blystone of Portage WI brought home a big win in front of family and friends on Blystone’s Towing and Recovery Night Saturday Night at Dells Raceway Park. Brian Muick and Ralph Schneider brought the stout field of UMA Asphalt Mods to the green for their 25 lap feature, Brian Muick would grab the initial lead. It was a short lived time at the front as Jerry Blystone immediately rocketed to his outside down the back straight with a dandy of a move. Muick would hold tough but Blystone was just too strong as he popped past his and started to grow a big lead. Fast qualifiers would have a hard road to the front as it seemed every racer found the drive and speed to race hard for positions. Dan Howard would be first to break from the hornets’ nest and try to chase down Blystone. It was to no avail as the crowd finished strong and the 95 was untouchable as he won his first feature of the 2023 season. He was followed to the line by Dan Howard, Points Leader Weston Marthaler, Brad Wildes and Matt Pate. Weston Marthaler was fast Qualifier with a lap of 14.374. The Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash was won by Brad Wildes and the heat race was won by Ralph Schneider. The UMA Asphalt Mods return to action July 22nd for the Assembly Products All Star Shootout where the Mods battle it out for $2000 to win as well as a sky blasting Fireworks Extravaganza after the races.
