LICHTFELD SCORES SECOND PRO LATE WIN IN BLYSTONE'S 50

Wisconsin Dells WI-Mike Lichtfeld of Pardeeville WI powered to his second Pro Late Model Win of the season Saturday Night holding off Reedsburg’s Brady Bill and Wisconsin Dells driver Kendrick Kreyer in the closing laps at Dells Raceway Park in the Blystone’s Towing & Recovery 50. Frank Beldowski and Mike Ehde brought the furious field of pro late models to the green on a beautiful Saturday night. Beldowski would grab the initial lead with Matt Urban following through into the second position. Urban would fight to the inside and battle side-by-side with Beldowski from many laps. As Urban was able to take the outright lead a close chasing defending champion Mike Lichtfeld would fire to his inside and jump out to the lead on lap 19 of the 50 lap main event. Brady Bill and Kendrick Kreyer would follow Lichtfeld through and try to battle through to the win. As the laps wound down and the leaders caught lapped traffic. This would give Brady Bill one last shot to get by the 44 as he jumped to the inside pulling even at the white flag. The Veteran racer in the 44 was equal to the task as he was able to use the lapped car as a pick and win his second Feature of 2023. Lichtfeld was followed closely to the line By Brady Bill, Kendrick Kreyer, Nick Nolden and Mahlon Borntreger. Zack Riddle was fastest of the Pro Late Models with a blistering lap of 14.161. The Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash was won by Nick Nolden. The heat races were won by Clayton Storey and Colton Morgan. The UMA Pro Late Models return to action July 22nd for the Assembly Products All Star Shootout 75 paying $5000 to the winner. It’s the only race of its kind in the Midwest. They will be joined by 3 classes all racing for big money as well as a sky blasting Firework Extravaganza!
