NOLDEN NOTCHES UMA PRO LATE MODEL TRIPLE CROWN VICTORY

Wisconsin Dells WI-Sun Prairie’s Nick Nolden powered his way to a UMA Pro Late Model victory in the Logan’s Heroes Bar and Grill 50 lap A-Main. Noah Eisenhauer and Matt Urban brought a stacked field of Pro Late Models to the stripe for the Pro Late Model Triple Crown Round 2 Feature. Right from the drop of the green the power and skill level of the drivers was on full display as they would go side by side six rows deep for 16 laps. Urban would lead the majority of the laps but Eisenhower would gain the advantage as the field would finally break formation and start to move. Eisenhower would lead for 8 laps before Multi-Time DRP Champion Nick Nolden would close the gap and make the pass. Nolden would pull away as the field shuffled rapidly behind him. Caution would wave with 14 laps to go brining the field back to Nolden and setting the stage for what would be a great fight to the finish and suddenly there was a four way fight for the podium as Eisenhower would look to hold off Mike Lichtfeld, Brady Bill and Kendrick Kreyer. The trio would move past Eisenhower and set their sights on Nolden at the point. With laps dwindling the 44 of Lichtfeld would be under fire from the 70 of Bill as he pulled to the outside of Nolden. They would fight for every inch to the line but the superior grip off the corner for Nolden would rocket him to the line just ahead of defending Champion Lichtfeld. Brady Bill would settle for 3rd followed by Kendrick Kreyer and Noah Eisenhower. Mike Lichtfeld was Fast Time on the night with a lap of 14.056. Matt Urban won the Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash, Cole Gray and Frank Beldowski would win the heats. The UMA Pro Late Models return to DRP July 8th to highlight Blystone Towing and Recovery Night.
