ETHAN ROSE BEST THE FIELD IN UMA 602 OUTLAW LATE MODELS

Wisconsin Dells WI-LaValle Wisconsin’s Ethan Rose would best the field as the UMA 602 Outlaw Late models go clean and green for 30 laps at DRP. Tanner Berge and Jason Stark would bring the beautiful 15 car field to the green flag. Rookie Pilot Berge would out duel the veteran on the start and lead the first 5 laps. Stark would regain his composure and fight his way past the rookie and lead with an ill handling race car until lap 12 when Ethan Rose would land on the doorstep and challenge for the lead. Rose would make quick work of Stark as he would start to fall through the field. Challenges would come from the likes of Mike Winters and eventually Dennis Prunty who drove to the front from deep in the field. But even the Super Late Model Veteran had nothing for the driver of the 48 as he cruised to a big win on the classes second night of competition. Dennis Prunty was fast qualifier with a lap of 14.250. The Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash was won by Pete Moore and the night’s lone heat race was collected in thrilling fashion by Larry Johnson. After a rough start to the season the UMA 602 Outlaw Late Models proved not only can they race clean but they can put on one heck of a show! Next up for the 602 Outlaws is the Trickle 99 Alive for 5 race presented by Lube USA June 24th at DRP.
