HOFFMAN SCORES BANDIT A-MAIN WIN AT DRP

Wisconsin Dells WI-Jordan Hoffman of Portage, WI scored his first win of the 2023 Season in the Doug’s Northside Auto Bandit A-Main feature event Saturday night at Dells Raceway Park. Becca Kruschke and Chase Kurth brought a solid 20 car Bandit A-Main to the green for their 20 lap feature. Kurth would take the advantage of the rookie on the start and fire to the lead. Kevin Beyer would be an early threat to the leader but Kurth was able to maintain the lead for the time being. With a big roll of the dice at the beginning of the night the action was on from the start as the fast timers started to climb from deep in the feature field. Kurth would hold the lead for the opening portion of the race, he was finally challenged by Jordan Hoffman who climbed from the 10th starting spot. Hoffman would move through for the lead followed closely by Stephani Wilson. With laps falling by the wayside the rest of the field would battle for every inch and position as Hoffman would pilot the H20 car to the first Doug’s Northside Auto Bandit feature win of 2023. Hoffman was followed to the line by Wilson, Jeremy Bredeson, Chase Kurth and Josh Mazur. Jeremy Bredeson was the fastest of 20 UMA bandits in the house with a qualifying lap of 16. 889. The fast dash was won by Hoffman. The heats were won by Steve Ecker and Kevin Beyer. The Doug’s Northside Auto Bandits return to action next week as part of the R&R Doors night at the races.
