Steven Schulz Stars in 602 Late Model Win

Wisconsin Dells WI 9/4/21-Steven Schulz of Waukesha claimed his first 602 Late Feature event in a 602 Late Model Saturday night at Dells Raceway Park in the Jim Sauter Classic 25. Schulz held off point leader Jason Stark (Sparta) for the victory. Mike Winters posted his best finish of the season coming home in third followed by Bryce Miller of Columbus WI in his first ever 602 Late Model event in fourth and Seth Lootans of Kenosha rounded out the top five. Earlier action saw Tom Carlson fastest in qualifying with a mark of 14.099 85.104mph, Brian Johnson Sr. was the winner of the fast dash, while Chris McQuality and James Storey picked up heat race wins. Jason Stark now holds a 7 point advantage over Waterloo WI driver Greg Bowers heading into the season finale on Saturday Oct 23rd the Falloween 150.
