Lichtfeld Cashes in on Blystone 50

Wisconsin Dells WI 7/10/21-Mike Lichtfeld of Portage WI captured the Blystone Towing & Recovery Late Model 50 Saturday Night at Dells Raceway Park and also claimed the Assembly Products Ultimate Challenge Cash of $2000 for the win. Nick Nolden of Sun Prairie and Rockford's Michael Bilderback brought the twenty car field to green and put on a side by side battle for the point until lap five when Bilderback took the early lead. Bilderback was under heavy pressure from Lichtfeld from that point on with Lichtfeld making the pass and taking control of the event leaving the battle for second between Bilderback and Nolden. Caution would fly at the midway point of the race on lap 25 tightening the field once again with Bilderback, Morgan Schissel (Mondovi WI) and point leader Jesse Bernhagen (Markesan WI) now in the hunt., but on the restart Lichtfeld proved to strong and pulled away leaving the battle for second and at the finish is was Lichtfeld, Bernhagen, Bilderback, Schissel, and Nick Beaver (Rosemont MN) with a nice run form the back after transferring to the A-Main by winning the B-Main finishing in the fifth spot. Earlier Action saw Lichtfeld post quick time with a mark of 14.175 83.810mph. Heat Winners were Cole Gray (Endeavor WI),Steve Rubeck (Rockford IL), Scott Luck (Noth Freedom WI ) and the fast dash was won by Nick Nolden of Sun Prairie. Nick Beaver (Rosemount MN) won the B-Main.
