Weber Tops Dells Sportsman
Wisconsin Dells WI 5/29/21-Chris Weber of Cashton WI, took over the lead from race leader Brandon Birdsill in the closing laps to win his first Sportsman Feature event of the year at DRP, with the win Weber took over the divisions points lead also from David Borntreger by just two points. Tytus Helgestad of Milton WI slipped past Birdsill to finish second, Birdsill third, pole sitter Henry Vian finished fourth and David Borntreger rounded out the top five. Earlier in the night it was Weber fastest in qualifying with a time of 14.774 80.412mph, Vian captured the Fast Dash, Rookie driver Mark Challet from Sparta picked up his first win in the heat race.
