Wisconsin Dells WI 7/9/22-Tim Brockhouse Battled to a Legends Direct Triple Crown Feature win Saturday Night at Dells Raceway Park. Jesse Mahoney and Aaron Olson brought a feisty field of Legends to the stripe for their 30 lap Triple Crown feature. Mahoney shot out to the early lead and tried to run away with it. Kacey Korsmo followed her through and immediately went to work trying to pass for the lead. He did so and would work to hold on to it. Meanwhile the night’s fastest cars started flying through the field ultimately meeting at the front for an epic generational battle. Tim Brockhouse a veteran racer with over 240 Legend wins in his career went toe to toe with Jacob Tiegen a young hot shoe with a long resume of big wins of his own. Brockhouse got their first dispatching of Korsmo with Tiegen in tow. Then it was on as lap after lap the duo swapped the lead in a display of amazing driving. Unfortunately with a mere 5 laps to go the young racer lost the brake pedal and was forced to retire from the race, Brockhouse would then have defending series Champion Dillon Schwanbeck trying to chase him down… 5 laps was not enough time as Brockhouse would bring home his 242 career Legend win. Brockhouse was followed to the line by Schwanbeck, Ayrton Brockhouse, Kacey Korsmo and Jessie Mahoney. The Legends Direct Fast Dash was won by DIllon Schwanbexckand the heat race was won by Jacob Tiegen. Of the 15 Great North INEX Legends to take time Colin Stocker was the fastest with a lap of 15.575
