ROSE BORNTREGER CAPTURES NASCAR REGIONAL LATE MODEL FEATURE EVENT

Wisconsin Dells WI-Rookie NASCAR Weekly Late Model competitor Rose Borntreger of Elroy, WI broke through for her first ever win in the Advanced Auto Parts NASCAR Weekly Gandrud Performance Parts Late Models at Ride for A Brother Night Presented by Our House Senior Living in Wisconsin Dells. Kevin Kulka and Steve Lichtfeld brought the field to the green for the 35 lap A Main. Kulka would grab the early lead and start to add to it as the car fight raged behind them. Caution would fly just before halfway bringing Rose Borntreger who fought forward from her outside row 2 starting spot to pull to Kulaks’ rear bumper. On the restart Borntreger would create furious pressure on Kulka utilizing a perfectly placed bump and run in turns 1 &2 to take the lead. Though the field would try to track her down the rookie was just too strong as she collected her first NASCAR Weekly Gandrud Performance Parts Late Models at Feature. Rose Borntreger would be followed to the line by fellow rookie and brother Andrew Borntreger, Nick Nolden, Mike Lichtfeld and Kevin Kulka rounded out the top five. Mike Lichtfeld was the Fast Qualifier on the night while Mike Ehde won the Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash and Landry Potter would win the heat.
