FREDRICKSON FABULOUS IN ALIVE FOR 5 TRICKLE 99

Wisconsin Dells WI-Minnesota Young Gun Ty Fredrickson Rockets to a dominant Trickle 99 win in the Alive for Five Super Late Models Presented by Wegner Automotive. Fredrickson and Tristan Swanson brought The Midwest’s Best to the line for the 99 Lap Main event. Fredrickson would bound to the lead with Swanson in tow. Caution would fly early as Swanson would have a motor expire down the front stretch triggering a multi car pileup in turn one. Swanson, Randy Sargent, Derek Lemke and James Storey would be retired from the event. After the red flag was lifted the field would go back green and the Fredrickson would spring away after fighting off defending Alive for 5 Champion and Fast Qualifier Gabe Sommers. Fredrickson led at the halfway point collecting a $500 bonus from Quality Freight Rate. The race would go green until the late stages when a spin from contact between Penn Sauter and Jeff Storm would bring the evenings final caution evaporating the straight away lead the 36 had built. On what was the final restart Fredrickson would be in the clutches of Casey Johnson who to that point had been the fastest car on the track. All though Johnson would get position on Fredrickson he could not make the pass as Frederickson would hit the line first collecting $5600 for the win and the title of Trickle 99 Champion. Fredrickson was followed to the line by Casey Johnson, Gabe Sommers, Johnny DeAngelis Jr who took over the series point lead and Max Kahler. The even Dash was won by Derek Lemke, the odd dash was won by Mitch Haver while the positioning heat was won by Bryce Miller. The Alive for Five Super Late Models presented by Wegner Automotive return to action for race #3 The Dairyland 100 Present by Slowey Farms June 28th at Dells Raceway Park.
