DENNIS PRUNTY CAPTURES BADGER STATE 35 AT DRP

Wisconsin Dells WI-Dennis Prunty broke through for his first 602 Outlaw Late Model Presented by Lefthander Performance feature win at DRP since 2022. Staring from inside row three Prunty would diligently work his way forward to land at the top spot at lap 14 of the 35 lap race. Charlie Bates would challenge but DDP was just too strong as he powered to the line in impressive fashion. Prunty would be followed to the line by Bates, Jon Lemke, Pete Moore and Brian Johnson Sr. Tanner Berge would be Fast Qualifier with a New Track Record Lap of 14.004. The Diamond Race Wheels Fast Dash was won by Brian Johnson Sr. While the heats were won by Mason Hellenbrand and Brad Warthan. With three races remaining for the 602 Outlaw Late Models presented by Lefthander Performance Dennis Prunty is the Championship Points leader with a 39 point lead over defending Champion Tanner Berge. The 602 Outlaw Late Models Presented by Lefthander Performance return to action August 31st for the ASA Midwest Tour Jim Sauter Classic.
