The Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series will return to Dells Raceway Park in 2011 after a popular debut last September. MSRXSS' return to the third-mile promises to be one of their biggest events of the season spanning two days, July 1and 2.
Bobby East of Brownsburg, Ind., captured the inaugural visit for the series at DRP this past season. The event was televised on stations throughout the country, and once again will be televised in 2011.
"Our race teams loved Dells Raceway Park," said Jim Hanks, MSRXSS President. "It's a very competitive place to race. It's probably the most fan-friendly and one of the nicest facilities we've ever competed at. All of our teams and officials are anxious to get back on the holiday weekend and race there again."
With visits in Indiana and Michigan, DRP is the only stop in the Badger State on the tentative MSRXSS 2011 schedule. The event will be tagged the BioBased U.S./Must See Racing Nationals, and will award a separate point fund for the weekend, which includes a stop on Sunday at Rockford Speedway in Loves Park, Ill.
The two-day program will be the banner event of the 2011 DRP season. Joining the MSRXSS will be all four weekly DRP divisions, as well as several additions yet to be named. More details will be released with the finalized 2011 schedule.
A finalized 2011 DRP schedule will be posted at www.dellsracewaypark.com in the coming weeks.
