Dells Raceway Park has added Late Models to the first annual Traveler’s Championships Invitational on September 12th and 13th. Rules will be based on current Big 8 Late Models.

“The Late Model class running Big 8 rules are commanding the largest car counts in Wisconsin,” said Joe Graziano, co-owner of DRP. “This is a growing class and we are looking forward to showcasing their talented drivers during our new Traveler’s Championship Event.”

Chula Vista Resorts of Wisconsin Dells has agreed to sponsor the 2-day event and they will be offering special weekend lodging packages for all participants and spectators of this event. Chula Vista Resorts has also contributed to the driver purse and trophy fund.

“The Limited Late Models (simply “Late Models” at many local tracks) will now have a chance to compete for some substantial prize money in this first annual event,” Graziano said. “With the help of our sponsors, we’ll turn this into an event that drivers will look forward to year after year.”
