As a fan, I only can only report my personal experiences from sitting in the stands at a racetrack, but as a car sponsor I may have personal insights that the average race fans may not notice. The purpose of this letter is to urge the average race fan to return, or continue attending one of the best short tracks in the Midwest, that being Dells Raceway Park. As sponsor of a traveling series, we see many venues in the upper Midwest, but we always like to return to “The Dells”. Below are just some of the reasons we like attending races at Dells Raceway Park:
Getting to the track is very easy, about four miles off the interstate, exit Hwy 12 west, and you virtually pull into their parking lot. Attendants park you in a well lit parking spot.
You will be greeted and thanked by people that care you are there and spending your hard earned money at their facility.
The welcome center is new and clean. You can buy souvenirs or just meet your friends in a well-lit and clean atmosphere.
The food concessions are great! With a person in management also affiliated with food service; you cannot lose.
All seating is good including a new grandstand in turn one which was just added in the last two years.
The restrooms are clean and modern, (which is most appreciated by our female guests).
The Tiki bar has a flat screen to keep track of other sporting events while you are there.
For a reasonable charge, plenty of room for VIP guests in the recently remolded elevated deck and air-conditioned hospitality room.
New paved area for the race teams to work on their cars.
Neat people in management that really care that you are with them for a Saturday night experience.
You will see some excellent racing talent, which just may move into the Nationwide or Sprint series.
New lower ticket prices for 2010.
So why not pick a date to attend a race in 2010 at Dells Raceway Park? I am confident that you will not be disappointed. This track is, in fact the crown jewel of Midwest short track racing.
