Super Late Models are coming back to Dells Raceway Park!
After two meetings with Super Late Model Drivers and Teams this past offseason, the Alive for Five Super Late Model Series came to life. The high horsepower machines are slated to return for five dates in 2011.
In 2011 drivers, teams and officials will work together in a joint marketing campaign to bring the class back to DRP. Both drivers and officials will seek sponsorship to fund the class in the joint-venture system. The class will race for a purse at each event and teams will be offered ways to cut their expenses of tires and pit passes. Teams can also look forward to a point fund awaiting them at the end of the 2011 campaign.
In exchange sponsors of contributing Super Late Model Drivers will be given VIP treatment at each of the Alive for Five series races. Those sponsors will also be permitted to hang banners and signs at the facility, and will be given a spot on the Dells Raceway Park Web site, as well as Racing Online.
